How much does a course cost?
Please see the course catalog.
How much time does a course take?
The courses on the site are designed to be self-paced which means that the user can learn at his or her pace. Course duration thus depends on how much time each individual user spends per screen.

We have however devised course-timing methods that help us average out a course's duration. The course timing thus depends on the number of screens in a course and the nature of interactive elements used. Please look for the course duration figure in the introductory section of each course.
What are the learning features of the courses?
The courses on this site are designed to be friendly and effective. The information is presented through well-categorized content buckets that provide the context for the information and are accompanied by simulations that encourage hands-on practice of learning. Here are some of the key information buckets that the courses use –
  • Objectives – these define, in tangible terms, the learning goals of a course
  • Concept – this is the key information bucket and presents the central information about a learning objective
  • Hints – these are useful pieces of information (about shortcuts, or exceptions etc.) that supplement the information in the concept bucket
  • Examples – these are scenarios that illustrate the real life application of a concept
  • Animated demonstrations – these are step-by-step guides to performing critical operations and provide a visual tour of key processes
  • Simulations – these let users perform key operations from within the learning environment. All user actions are accompanied by relevant feedback and provide users useful experience of the software concerned without investing in it
  • Quizzes – these accompany each set of concepts and test user retention of what has been described earlier
  • Mastery module – this is a complete test that measures user learning at the end of a course and quantifies it in terms of a score
How can I be sure about the quality of the available courses?
A dedicated team with over six years of experience in creating technology-based titles for IT education creates the courses available on the site. The team has worked successfully with clients like Gartner Group Learning, Oracle and Seagate, and members in team possess relevant certifications from organizations like Microsoft, Sun and Lotus.
What are the benefits of taking these courses?
The courses on the site cover some of the hottest technologies of the day and help IT professionals and beginners –
  • Get better jobs
  • Improve own productivity
  • Acquire new skills that lead to greater responsibility
  • Get higher wages
Do I receive certification after taking a course?
Yes, you receive a certification after finishing a course. You can attach this certification to your resume to improve your career prospects
How do I know if a course is right for me?
Please read the target audience description very carefully before you take a course. This will help you determine whether the course will be helpful to you. Watch out also for the Career Wizard that will provide complete information on IT careers and the skills required in popular IT jobs.
I am clicking on the course name but nothing seems to happen. What could be the problem?
When you click on a course name, the course opens in a new window. If you have a course window already open, clicking on another course will simply refresh the existing course window. If clicking on the course link appears to do nothing, chances are that you have a course window already open and hidden behind some other open application. Try closing all open applications and then clicking on the course name. That should fix the problem.
I can see the course content screen and the objectives screen, but don't know how to proceed further. Where are the navigation buttons?
The navigation buttons are available on the top part of the screen. You need macromedia shockwave plugin to view the course navigation. You can install this simple plugin using the link available on the home page.
If I buy a training course, for how long can I access the course?
As an individual user, you have access to each course you buy for ONE year from the date of purchase. You can access the course for unlimited number of times during that one-year period.
