Pre-requisites Before taking this course, the user should be familiar with the GUI-based interface. Students should have the basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products. They should also be familiar with Windows 95/98 operating systems.

Course Objectives The Advanced Features of PowerPoint 2000 is the second course in the PowerPoint 2000 curriculum. It familiarizes the students with the advanced features of PowerPoint that they can include in their presentation. These features include charts and animations. Students will also be able to share and publish their presentations on the Web. After completing this course, the student will be able to:
  • Create and format charts in PowerPoint 2000
  • Create and format organization charts
  • Create and customize tables
  • Apply slide transitions and preset animations to a slide show
  • Apply custom animations to a slide show
  • Apply action setting and action button animations to a slide show
  • Incorporate movie clips and sound files in your presentation
  • Incorporate sound in your presentation
  • Share a presentation with other users
  • Send a presentation as an e-mail
  • Create hyperlinks for your presentation
  • Publish a presentation on the Internet
