Course Objectives
|
The Fundamentals of PowerPoint 2000 WBT is the first course in the PowerPoint 2000 curriculum. It familiarizes students with the capabilities of PowerPoint 2000 and enables them to create and format simple PowerPoint presentations. After completing this course, the student will be able to:
- List the features of PowerPoint 2000
- Identify the components of the PowerPoint window
- Use the PowerPoint help system
- List different ways of creating a presentation
- Perform basic operations on a presentation, such as opening or saving a presentation file
- Specify the properties of a presentation file
- Understand and use different types of PowerPoint views
- Manipulate presentation slides by adding or deleting slides, or by applying new template, color or background to the slides
- Organize slides in a presentation
- Format text used in a slide
- Create drawing objects and format them by applying various effects
- Insert WordArt and ClipArt in a presentation
- Create a slide show and perform operations on a running slide show
- Specify printing options and print a presentation
- Package a presentation for delivery on another computer
